Cutest Couple | Las Vegas, NV & Alamo, NV Wedding Photographer

Ok, ok, ok I'm a little behind on my blogging! It is just so much faster to post them on Facebook! Here is a wedding reception that I shot in August up in Alamo, NV. This family is incredible!!!! Just about everyone--- including the Bride-To-Be's Brother-In-Laws pitched in to decorate this gorgeous place! My husband and his brothers wouldn't think twice! :-) It turned out fantastic. It rained about 2 hours before the reception started then was gorgeous with lucky for me AMAZINGLY BEAUTIFUL light!!! Here are a few shots of the Bride & Groom and I included a few of the Bride's adorable nieces and nephews, which I can't get enough of! Congrats to the Gardners!!!

This is probably the funniest little guy you will ever meet! I happen to be lucky enough to call him my nephew. He has the goofiest sense of humor--- definitely gets it from his Dad! I am so fortunate to get to spend a lot of time with him since he and my oldest daughter are only 6 days apart. He is very well balanced loves monster trucks, frogs, and cowboy stuff, but his favorite color is pink (which makes his parents crazy-- but I tell him only the toughest boys like pink!) I've also trained him pretty well that when asked who is favorite Aunt is he says -- You (to me!)

This is ourn little Boo! She is full of fire and energy and definitely keeps us all on our toes! She is mischevious and fearless, but also can be very loving and cuddly. She just knows what she wants when she wants it!  I tease her all the time that she is lucky she is so cute or we would give her away! Not a chance would I give her away-- but I will loan her to her Grandma once in awhile! I couldn't pass up the opportunity to snap a few of these in her Great-Great- Aunt & Uncle's Cherry Orchard- even though her face was a mess!!!

Country Wedding Trever & Shalene Wade | Las Vegas & Alamo Wedding Photographer

I had the joy a few weeks ago of photographing a wedding in Alamo, NV (my in-laws live there too!) The wedding was held on a gorgeous ranch, making for incredible backgrounds. The wind however was not our friend! Of couse around 8 that night the winds virtually went from 30mph to about 2mph! Trever and Shalene are a great couple! They both worked so hard with their families putting this wedding together and it turned out AMAZING!!! Shalene definitely is a rancher's wife pretty much for their honeymoon they were headed to move their cows! You would never guess this beauty would be roping cows or so tough! I wish them a wonderful happy life and hope to photograph their children!!!! :-)

PS- The ring bearer- Trever's nephew stole the show!!! Look at what a heart breaker he will be!!!

Home, Home, on the Range | Las Vegas & Alamo, NV Photographer

Welcome to Nyala, NV!!!! I have been asked a bunch for some pictures of our ranch so finally here they are!!!!  It is about 3 1/2 hours North of Vegas pretty much in the middle of nowhere- which usually is not my cup of tea! However the few times I have been out there I love it!!! There is a lot of water surrounded by gorgeous mountains- oh and roughly 800 cows. Funny thing is I never expected to be a "Ranchers Wife" in fact when my husband and I began dating I was a vegetarian!  These are pics from the Cross L Ranch's first branding!

So happy yet so sad at the same time! Today is Sofia's last day of Kindergarten!!! She was the first of all our friend's babies! Hard to believe how fast she is growing up! (The Sad Part). The fun part is now we get to see her all summer! CONGRATULATIONS SOFIA!!!!! LOVE YOU!!!!

Cupcake Cutie | Las Vegas Family Photographer

Right before Easter I was fortunate enough to shoot a 1 year old cutie pie with her parents! She normally doesn't like to wear anything in her hair but we distracted her with a Papier-Mache cupcake and she let me put this adorable yellow daisy headband on her ( I don't think she noticed until much later!). She was such a sweet little thing with the greatest facial expressions! A lot of times when I have parents give each other a little kiss the kids tend to cry or not like it, this cutie just laughed and thought it was hillarious!  I look forward to capturing many more of her birthdays! I had the joy of shooting this incredibly cute family! This little ball of energy has the best smile! I learned real quick that he loves airplanes, trucks, oh and his mama (dad too!) You definitely can tell in these pics when he is looking at him mom or watching her make chicken noises--- he would crack up hysterically! I hope to see them again soon! Best of luck on the new niece too!

I had a crazy day yesterday--- but it was such a great day!!! I had the joy of capturing the sweetest happiest little baby girl. She is just starting to sit on her own and did such a wonderful job. Sneak peek time! Luckily it was a beautiful day for us out at Floyd Lamb. I met Martie & Micah and their sweet little puppy Lilly! She was hillarious the geese kept hissing at her and raising their wings and she wasn't scared at all that is until they got a little too close- I included that pic for fun!!!

Baby K

Hard to believe that this tiny guy was almost 9lbs!!! He was such a sweet little thing! He didn't want to close his eyes for a second. Also at only a week old --laying on his belly lifted his head sky high! Advanced already! So fun to take pics of a boy! I bought a special camo beanie for this little guy and he wasn't having any of it on day 1, but luckily he knew how much I loved it (and how his dad would) that he let me put it on him during our next quick wrap up session! Nelson Family

This was a piece of cake! My good friends the Nelsons probably are the most photogenic people in the world! The little ones have the most beautiful skin so editing was a piece of cake. Baby L is here!

Baby A

Here are some sweet pics of my niece Baby A. It was my first newborn shoot. I'm getting some practice as we are awaiting the arrival of Baby L (maybe even this morning!!!) and Baby K! Baby A was 2 weeks old so wasnt about to sleep through any posing so instead we captured great shots of her little personality! Lesson learned if you want sleeping baby take pictures at 1 week old. I love the way they turned out!
